BUY AT AUCTION

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Go to Current Auctions. Click the View Now button to the right of the auction information.

Create a Biddify Account or Login if you already have an account. You will need a valid credit card to register for online bidding. Once you confirm your email address and we approve your account details, you will receive an email notification confirming your registration. Please watch the video below for step-by-step walkthrough of our registration process:

Once you're registered, now you are able to view and bid on any lots in the current auction. You may create a Watchlist with lots that you are interested in. You can use the search function to search for specific keywords such as 'mid century' or for categories such as 'jewelry'.

There are two ways you can now bid on lots. You may place a single bid, either at the starting bid (if no other bids have been placed) or at the next bid increment. You can also set an auto-bid, which will automate bidding for you at the predetermined increments until your maximum bid price that you entered is reached and you are outbid by other bidders.

When a lot closes, you will be notified if you are the winner, which means you placed the highest bid before the lot timer ended. At the end of the auction, you will receive an email invoice including all lots won at that auction. You may pay immediately with the credit card on file or you may pay upon pickup of your items.

After the auction, you may pickup your items at our office, located just northeast Chinook Centre, during one of the allotted pickup days.

For more detailed info on buying at auction, please see our
Bidder Guide.

SELL AT AUCTION

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.

If you're interested in consigning items through our auction, please review our Consignor Guide and our Consignor Agreement.

If possible, please take some photos of your items. Also, if relevant or necessary, please gather any documentation or information on your items, such as appraisals, provenance, etc.

Please send us a submission through our Consignment Inquiry Form. Please include your pictures of your items and any relevant information about them.

Our team will review your submission and contact you (generally via email) to provide you with an preliminary evaluation and estimate (at current local market value) of your items — at no cost — as well as to discuss with you whether your items can be included in one of our upcoming online auctions.

If determined that your items will be a good fit for one of our auctions, we will schedule a drop-off time and date for you to bring your items down to our showroom.

Once your items have been received by us, our team will process your items to prepare them for our online auction catalogue. This includes professional product photography and a detailed evaluation including research into your item, price estimation at current local market value, measurement, and condition assessment.

Prior to your items being sold at auction, you will have the opportunity to review your consignment in detail, to ensure that you are happy with the price estimates, the starting price, and the descriptions for your items.

Once your items have been sold at auction, you will receive a detailed consignor invoice for your items. Once all payments from that auction have been processed, you will be issued payment for your consignment. If there are unsold items, our team will contact you and arrange a time and date for you to pick them up at our showroom.

For more detailed info on selling/consigning at auction, please see our Auction Guide.
